‘Remnants of World War II’ Lecture at El Sawy Culturewheel
In association with the Executive Secretariat for Mine Clearance, this lecture looks at how World War II still has very real consequences to this very day in Egypt. It is estimated that over 20 million WWII mines are in Egypt- planted on the north coast during the Battle of Al Alemein. The lecture will be held in Word Hall 1 and attendance is free.
