‘Black Cat: A Prison Experience’ by Mohsen Shaalan at Gezirah Art Center
Former Deputy Minister of Culture, Mohsen Shaalan, was faced with prison time after being held responsible for a stolen Van Gogh painting back in 2010. Having turned his prison cell into his own personal studio, the work has been amalgamated in to ‘Black Cat: A Prison Experience’ at Gezirah Art Center. The gallery is closed from 2PM-5PM.
